Winter doesn't always provide enough moisture for trees along the Front Range. Colorado Springs often goes weeks without measurable snowfall, and the combination of dry air, wind, and freeze-thaw cycles can leave trees under stress long before spring arrives. Evergreens are especially vulnerable because they continue losing moisture throughout the winter, even when they're dormant.
At Jrick Lawn and Tree, we provide supplemental winter watering when natural precipitation isn't enough to support healthy root systems. Providing moisture during the colder months helps reduce drought stress and gives trees a healthier start when the growing season returns. Winter watering is especially beneficial for newly planted trees and mature specimens that add shade and value to commercial properties. As part of our
